Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air-Conditioners Australia (MHIAA) has announced the launch of its innovative Ciara compact wall-mounted split system, complete with built in wi-fi control. 

“With the decline in the urban sprawl and shift towards medium- and high-rise houses, consumers are increasingly favouring state-of-the-art finishes and appliances, compact designs, and energy efficiency. Air conditioners are no exception,” says Diana Dulevski, Affil.AIRAH, Product Manager for MHIAA. 

The Ciara’s features include: 

  • Built-in wi-fi adaptor 
  • Voice control compatibility with Google or Alexa 
  • Compact 1.5kW design, suitable for home offices or small rooms 
  • Remote control with backlight 
  • Demand-response-enabling device (DRED) available from 5.0kW and above. 

 Ciara indoor units are available in two sizes, while the outdoor variant is available in three sizes. It’s available in 1.5kW, 2.0kW, 2.5kW, 3.3kW, 5.0kW, 6.3kW and 7.1kW capacities.
