
Clive Broadbent, L.AIRAH
Clive Broadbent AM, L.AIRAH, is an independent Canberra-based engineering consultant who prepares risk management reports for the control of Legionnaires’ disease hazards in building services.
He was formerly Chief Mechanical Engineer with the Federal Department of Construction, and also assisted the WHO with stopping the spread of SARS in public buildings in Beijing. He is a fellow and life member of AIRAH, and a life fellow of Engineers Australia and ASHRAE.
He has published many technical papers, twice winning AIRAH’s WR Ahern Award for the best paper in Ecolibrium. Although semi-retired, he prefers to think of it as being on “light duties”.
